Training with a longstaff is a lot of fun, but takes hard work and diligence - Jangmookido,  the art of  longstaff fighting  is REALLY FUN and can be trained throughout life. No wonder the longstaff is the most widely practiced martial arts weapons in the world.

The Longstaff - Jangbong (korean) is the first weapons a student should learn in Jangmookido It is a extremly effective weapons fore self-defense, but depending on how you use it, it can be a deadly weapon. For us, the jangbong is much more than just a momentum tool. It‛s an extension of the body, organic in matrial, and made to fuse with the organic grip of the hand. This weapon is represented by a long wood staff made of bamboo that measures 72 inches (1.8m) long with a diameter lenght Approx 1 - 1.5 inches. The Bamboo Jangbong is very flexible, strong, easy and comfortable to master. We utilize  bamboo rod to keep the experience both intreresting and dynamically changing. The Longstaff is very useful exercise equipment, because it can improve the practitioner's overall mental, physical and spiritual well-being.
